Tracey Chapman is the Deputy Manager at Empower Life Supported Living Ltd, a specialist supported living organisation based in Sheffield. With over a decade of experience in health and social care, Tracey brings a comprehensive understanding of high-quality, person-centred support.
Since joining the sector in 2010, Tracey has been dedicated to promoting independence and ensuring that every adult she supports receives care that is respectful, compassionate, and tailored to their individual needs. She has worked in a variety of roles, including Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, and Care Assistant, gaining extensive expertise in managing teams, updating care plans, and delivering hands-on personal care.
Tracey holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and is currently completing her Team Leader qualification. She is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality of care, ensuring that the people supported by Empower Life can live meaningful, independent lives in their own homes
I believe that genuine support begins with listening – truly listening – to the person in front of you. Every individual has their own story, their own strengths, and their own hopes for the future. My role is to ensure that their voice is heard, their choices are respected, and their independence is actively promoted.
My journey in supported living has been shaped by a deep belief that every person, regardless of their background, deserves to live a life that is truly their own. As Deputy Manager at Empower Life, I am committed to building and maintaining services that genuinely put the individual first, from the first referral through to every day of their support journey.
With years of experience in health and social care leadership, Tracey brings a comprehensive understanding of high-quality, person-centred support. She has developed strong relationships with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals across Sheffield, ensuring that the support she delivers is not only compassionate but also well-coordinated and responsive to the wider support landscape.
